If you’re unsure where to begin, the Center for Specialized Addiction Services serves as the central starting point for substance use treatment at Four Rivers Behavioral Health. This center helps connect individuals to the appropriate level of care, including outpatient services, residential treatment, and recovery support.
Four Rivers Behavioral Health offers Hazelden Betty Ford’s COR-12 Program, which combines evidence-based substance use counseling with a Twelve-Step framework. The program may also include medication-assisted treatment when clinically appropriate, based on an initial assessment.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment is structured around the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s Living in Balance curriculum, an evidence-based approach to recovery. In addition to substance use treatment, the program addresses grief, guilt, forgiveness, communication skills, and healthy family boundaries.
Veterans may experience unique mental health and substance use challenges related to their service, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Four Rivers Behavioral Health offers specialized outpatient substance use treatment and access to veteran-specific resources and referrals.
The Zone provides a supportive, peer-focused environment designed to help young people build recovery skills and personal growth. Services emphasize connection, shared experience, and community as part of a healthier path forward.
Peer Support Specialists use their lived experience of recovery from mental health or substance use challenges to support others on their journey. This evidence-based service promotes hope, connection, and long-term recovery through shared understanding.
