Four Rivers Behavioral Health’s Center for Adult services provides outpatient therapy tailored to meet individual needs. Our Center for Adult Services works closely with others at Four Rivers Behavioral Health including our Center for Specialized Children’s Services, Center for Specialized Addiction Services, Medical Services and Crisis Services to ensure coordinated care.

We offer a variety of evidence-based therapeutic treatment options in both group and individual settings. Some of our approaches include.
Outpatient mental health treatment designed to support ongoing emotional wellness and personal growth through individual and group-based therapy. Most individuals meet with a therapist once or twice per month, allowing care to remain consistent, flexible, and tailored to individual goals over time.
Convenient outpatient therapy services for currently enrolled students at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Care is provided on campus, helping students access mental health support in a familiar, supportive environment while balancing academic and personal responsibilities.
Early-Intervention Youth Mental Health Program
A supportive, early-intervention program for individuals ages 15–30 experiencing changes in thoughts, perceptions, or behaviors that may indicate the early onset of a psychotic disorder. The program emphasizes education, connection, and individualized support during a critical stage of development.
A specialized counseling service focused on trauma-informed care for individuals and families who have experienced trauma. Support is designed to address a wide range of experiences, including accidents, medical trauma, natural disasters, neglect, or other life events.
Peer support services are provided by individuals who use their lived experience of recovery from mental health concerns or substance use disorders to support others on their recovery journey. Combined with formal training, peer supporters offer connection, understanding, and encouragement as part of an evidence-based approach to care.
A civil legal process, including Tim’s Law, that helps ensure individuals with significant mental health needs receive and follow a treatment plan. This service offers families a way to support care and promote stability when concerns about safety or well-being arise.
