KET’s re-broadcast of You Are Not Alone, a six-part series on youth mental health, begins May 20 on the main KET channel.
Six young people in Kentucky participated in a forum for KET where they discussed their various experiences overcoming mental health challenges. Suicide is second leading death for youths ages 12-18, claiming more of our nation’s children each year than cancer, heart disease, pneumonia and influenza combined, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
